Comics Youth Are Nominated For an LCR Pride Award!

Raise a glass, a toast, the roof, and whatever else you feel like because we have spectacular news: Comics Youth have been nominated in the category of LGBT+ Community Group of the Year at the prestigious 2019 LCR Pride Awards!

Obviously we’re bursting with pride at the news (in every sense of the word)! Especially as the LCR Pride Awards celebrate the people, businesses, and organisations who go the extra mile for the LGBT+ community across the Liverpool City Region. There were 600 nominations wittled down across 12 categories to create the shortlist for the awards which commend the contributions being made towards making our wonderful city as inclusive, safe, positive and LGBT+ friendly as it deserves to be.

We’re deeply humbled to be shortlisted alongside Over the Rainbow St Helens and our friend’s GYRO / YPAS for this award and wish the best of luck to both organisations who contribute spectacular work to the LGBT+ community in the region!

The awards take place on September 26th where we’ll find out whether we’ve won (so feel free to cross your fingers, toes, and eyes for us!). But regardless oF the result, we’re just thrilled that the hard work of our incredible team and the achievements of the young people we work with have both been recognised: YOU’RE ALL SERIOUSLY THE BEST AND WE LOVE YOU,..!
