Zine stands for:

“Zuper Interesting New Experience!”

right?

Calling all 13-25 year olds passionate about zines and grassroots publishing!

Come join our Zine Collective, part of our Beyond the Margins project all about elevating and empowering marginalised youth voices through zine making and grassroots publishing.

Every 6 months, we’ll work towards the publication of a collective zine, taking you from zine inception to publication. You’ll shape the art direction, content, and design, all with other likeminded folk!

  • Weekly sessions are on:

    • Wednesdays at 4.30-6.30pm for 18-25 year olds,

    • Fridays at 4.30-6.30pm for 13-17 year olds.

  • Weekly hybrid workshops will be located at:

    • Comics Youth HQ, Make Hamilton 2.0 69-71 Argyle Street, Birkenhead, CH41 6LQ

    • Online!

    Feel free to join whichever way suits you best. You’re welcome to join online one week and then in person the next.

  • To involved you must:

    • Be aged between 13 and 25;

    • Have an interest in zines (no experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm!);
